Thank you for your interest in Holy Cross School, a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. The mission of Holy Cross Catholic Elementary School is to provide a faith-filled, rigorous academic environment where students are inspired to become compassionate, competent, and faith-centered leaders now and for future generations. Holy Cross provides a warm, caring, and rigorous academic environment for all students.
Applications are due by January 31, 2025. Students in PK-8th grade are accepted under the following criteria: Siblings, Holy Cross parishioners, Catholics, and non-Catholics based on space availability. There is a $500 registration fee and $22 FACTS application fee payable with all applications. In the event that admission is not offered by the beginning of the school year, $400 of the registration fee will be refunded.
Application Criteria for Pre-Kindergarten 3, Pre-Kindergarten 4, and Kindergarten:
Students in Pre-Kindergarten must be 3-years-old by August 31, 2025; students in Pre-Kindergarten 4 must be 4-years-old by August 31, 2025; and students in Kindergarten must be 5-years-old by September 1, 2025. All students must be fully toilet trained prior to the beginning of the school year. The following application steps and documents must be provided in order to consider an application complete:

Families applying for students in Grades 1-8 must complete all of the above steps as well provide the following:
Support materials for admission can be uploaded into FACTS. (If possible, please scan all report cards to one PDF to upload, all standardized testing to one PDF to upload, etc.) Please note that new students are not usually accepted in 8th Grade unless transferring from another Catholic school outside of the Archdiocese of Washington.

To begin the application process, please click the "Create an Account" tab at the top of this page to create an application account. From there, you will be instructed to create a login, password, and verify your email via a message to your email account.
You have the flexibility to log in and out of your application account without losing your data as it will autosave. There will be a green check mark for each section once you have completed all required fields.
3. Review and Submit & Pay Application Fee
Once all required fields of the application are complete, you must select "Review & Submit." You will then be instructed to pay the registration fee of $500.
